New member needs advice
Hello everyone, I am in the process of looking at upgrading my 02 camaro to a 2011 camaro, but when I went to test drive I noticed it had a cold air intake.. Should that worry me? The reason I ask that is because usually individuals that buy those are running the car hard.
That said, the carfax report shows oil changes right on schedule.
Thoughts?

Let me add, it also has a ticking noise. I know I know, High pressure fuel... but this is a slower tick than the engine, it actually sounds like it might be from the exhaust. It is rhythmic and again slower than the engine

All original, dealer maintained cars are normally the best but just because of a Cold air intake I would not worry that much. Are we talking V8 or V6? Any noise you don’t think is normal should be shown to a mechanic, in fact unless you are buying a project car its worth the $50-80 to have a mechanic check the car out. It has been my experience that the reaction from the seller when you ask to take to a mechanic will tell you a lot. Keep in mind also that a owner can be 100% sure everything is fine but they are simply wrong.
update, the dealer said it was the high pressure fuel pump.... BUT, I found an 11 2LT convertible with RS package. Car is fully loaded, going to drive and maybe buy tomorrow. 80k miles for 12,500.. NADA retail is 14,100, so it looks to be a pretty good deal.
Thanks for all the input guys!

Ok, so I bought the 2LT convertible. Can someone tell me where the bluetooth module is? It acts like it doesn't have one. I get no reaction from the steering wheel voice button. When I go to config in the radio and select phone it says option not available.
thanks..
thanks..
