Default Maiden Voyage

On June 12, 2009 I surprised my wife with her 2010 2ss/rs. We valet parked my car but when we finished dinner her car was waiting. The look on her face was priceless! Well tonight we took the maiden voyage to a destination known only by me and the car! (OnStar). I'm posting this message while heading east on I20,yes she is driving! Will post pics later as the trip progresses.

Btw, noticed a cool feature on the car that is a throw back to the 1st Gen. It has a Speed Warning Indicator! I believe that was a somewhat rare option available on the 69 and maybe others. I only knew about it on the 69 because a parts car I had purchased happen to have one!

We are really pleased with how well it rides!!!!!

Auto or Manual? Is she a true driver?

The car is an Automatic because it was truly purchased for and intended to be a gift for her. She is not a "true driver" so the car will need to be driven by me at least once or twice per month

Here is one of many pictures we have taken this week but most are on her computer.

Very nice! So are these the stock wheels that came with the RS package? I have been looking everywhere for pictures of the wheels with no luck! I ordered one in solid black and wished to purchase darker wheels later but it all depended on how the RS ones looked

Yes these are the default RS painted aluminum wheels with midnight silver finish. I did opt for the polished wheels because we are putting an aftermarket set on. I can take better pictures of just wheels if necessary. Just let me know.
