Yesterday evening, I misplaced my car key, which included the remote controller. Today, I managed to start the car using my spare key, which is now my only available key. I'm considering purchasing a new set of keys with a remote controller, if that's possible. Additionally, I'm concerned about the old keys falling into the wrong hands, so I'm looking for a way to deactivate them. I've come across information about a method involving key fobs and no spare key, but I'm uncertain whether the old keys would remain functional after making this change.
