As my name and the title suggests, I want to trade my car in for a camaro. I have a Nissan maxima right now, which I could probably sell for around 25k. How cheap do you think I could find a camaro for? I don't mind having a stick car, and could someone describe the different versions an what they have/don't have for me please?

Are you looking to go new or certified used? My wife and I just picked up a 2012 transformers edition Rs Yesterday. We traded in her 2008 Altima and picked up the 2012 for under 29. A bit out of your 25k range but it really depends on what your looking for. 1ss? 2ss. 1lt. 2lt. Auto vs. manual. All good questions

new ones your looking stripped v8 or lower (loaded v6 isnt that bad), you could pull a certified used and be within your range, or you could sell the maxima and buy 3 nice 4th gens... 4 nice 3rd gens. A really nice 2nd gen, or you could have a mediocre 1st gen...

for a stripped down 1ss (v8 car) your looking 30k new.
for a stripped down 1lt (v6 with some options) your in the 25k range
for s stripped down 1ls (v6 with crank windows) your looking 23k

OR

you could look used.
