I'm tired of hearing people say that the power to weight ratio on a V6 camaro sucks because it's totally not true. It's way, way faster than the average car, which makes it somewhat of a challenge in traffic because it's so much faster than what traffic moves. However I think it is bearable, I cant even imagine how bad the v8 must be but I'd rather have the V6 over the v8 for this reason.

 

faster than traffic moves? what? do you floor it every second you're driving.......

what an idiotic statement, anyone who owns one of these cars with a manual shift knows driving in traffic is a pain when everyone else is driving so slow. v6 camaros are fast cars, i hear they do 0-60 in 6 seconds, about what,, 5% of cars on the road can do that? i'm sick of everyone saying v6 camaros are slow when they are faster than 95% of cars on the road. and it's not really even that heavy, the dodge chargers are about 800# heavier I believe and they are still half the weight of a Silverado with the same amount of power. yeah crappy little japanese cars weigh less but they ride like go-carts and most only have about 200 horses.

 

Why is it a pain when driving slow? Anything with a stick is annoying in traffic; whether it be my ws6 or my ranger, both being sticks...

they are quick cars no doubt, never did i say they were slow. I said they are heavy, which they are.

Charger weighs 800 pounds more? Chargers weigh in around 4100 for the sixbanger models, the Camaro with the six is around 3800. Why even bring a truck into this? Trucks are heavy because they have to be.
