honestly, I don't, I'm just trying to see what the rates are because I was thinking about getting a new car, not sure yet.

thats pretty cheap from state farm... for some reason they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg just for liability.

It'll be much better to be patient and wait for the time that you're able to buy one in cash. Who knows by that time the value or cost of the car won't be that expensive anymore.

tickets and accidents are only on your record for 3 years i think. Allstate denied me, saying they cant give me insurance because i was 19 and had TWO CAMAROS.... haha Statefarm seemed to be my best choice out of every company i tried... they are a good neighbor... ^_^

unless you can find some reasonable insurance you might as well forget about driving a new camaro. Ask the Insurance agent to break down the rate and see what is costing so much.

you could use maximum deductables to get the price down, and get the minimum coverage for liability. Also, if you can add a family member to the policy it would help bring down the rates.

I dont think your quote is so high just because of the camaro, sure you can add 10-15% but not a lot.

You might have to settle for having a smaller/older car. You know the older v6 camaros with the 5 speed manuals were a blast to drive.

I've had state frm my whole life, I dont think anyone can beat their rates for cars or bikes. I just bought a 2012 v6, at 31 years old with an okay record, I'm paying $960 a year with full coverage for the car.

I just did a price quote with esurance who i currently have. To add a 2010 lt it was 1000 for 6 months. For full coverage. So that's 166 a month. esurance has always been the cheapest insurance for me. Btw I have a speeding ticket, 25 over, and right turn at red light. Within the last year. I'm 24.

When I was 24, I paid $260 a month for basic liability on one car, and comprehensive (fire, theft, vandalism, the like) on two.

Now that I'm 25, the same coverage costs $100 a month.
