I don't mean to be offensive but I just wanted to know whether its better to stick with the LS or is it better to spend a little more on 2LS or 1/2LT because they give you more and its worth the money.

LOL, you're asking me if I'm thinking straight? I meant no disrespect in my previous posts, but now you've insulted me. You're 21, going to school, holding a part-time job and looking to buy a brand new 5th gen $25K-$30K Camaro? You need to get your priorities straight. Driving a cool and expensive car should be the last thing on your mind.

At least it's not just me who was thinking this very thing. You're just starting out and going to bury yourself in a big financial hole, working for a car payment. Do what you want, but you're going to have a real epiphany some day when "life" smacks you in the face. As soon as you drive that "new" car off the lot, it becomes "used" and the value drops by about $5k. Any economist worth a crap will tell you not to buy a new car, but buy one a year or two old. It's still new enough, and the original buyer is the one who takes the huge depreciation up the butt, not you. In my 35+ years of driving, I've bought a new car only three times. Never again, unless I have money dripping out of my ars, which ain't happening yet.

I don't trust other people with the way they take care of the car and I am buying this car new because its not worth buying a used one right now and I have the peace of mind that no one trashed it especially if the car has only 3k miles on it and its already gotten rid off. camaros are Toyota and there is not many people that buy it to keep it under 2k rpms

fixed

So to actually give an answer to the question you previously had, like I said before, get a 1LT with a 6-speed and the RS Package.

Keep the 4th gen and if it needs work, fix it. Cheaper than a car payment. Pay off student loans and tuition for college so that way if you cannot find a job after college, which you probably wont to be honest, then you don't have to give up the Camaro because of the lack of money to pay monthly. BUT IF YOU INSIST, get a base V6 and add the extras yourself. Its cheaper and you can get what you want.

Thanks you thats the answer i was looking for and thanks bolt for your suggestion but the car has 170k miles and its falling appart and I just don't see a point of keeping it. I'd buy a younger camaro but they closed the productions so there is none out there darn it! I don't want a mustang...they be sloooow!
