Default HELP!! one of my right brake lights are out

So one of the right brake lights on my car is out, and I tried changing the bulb to see if it did anything and it didn't help. Any suggestions? I hate driving with a brake light out. It's so embarrassing..

Check the connections in the plug. They may be dirty or bent to a point that they aren't making contact. If it isn't that, you may have a wiring issue somewhere.

Ya I checked it out. It ended up actually being the bulb itself. I didn't realize it has two separate lighting points until I looked at the other one so I just replaced the bulb

Turns out the other bulb I first tried to replace it with wasn't the right one
