The 2010 Camaro info is very limited. However, it is a Ls3 Corvette engine with I believe the same tranny and rear end. In the entire Corvette line, ls2's, ls3's and ls7's the major weak spot is in the rear ends, with the 2005 ls2 being the weakest. The major cause of failure is wheel hop. My 450 rwhp 07 ls2 did it several times. You must get off the gas immediately when it first starts to hop or it will either snap the shaft or crack the rear end housing. If you go to the Corvette Forum, C6 Tech and perf. section and search for wheelhop or rearends you will find lots of info. Hope this helps you. I'll say this again, at the first sign of wheelhop, let off the gas immediately as it will destroy your shaft or rear end in no time at all. The shafts are about $300 plus labor and a new rear end is $2700.

Good info. I'm new here and wasn't aware it has been addressed. Thanks.
