Yeah, that hitch is real classy, haha. I don't mind the fake louvers much, just adds to the agressive body lines.

Guys, I have looked on line and can't find a picture of a car with them, but I could swear that there were certain middle range '69 Camaro models that had fake louvers in front of the rear wheels-- I remembver it so well (I had spent every penny I had on my first new car purchase, a '68 327 Camaro, and I paid real attention to the subsequent year's models).

I had assumed the new car was sort of re-creating theCamaroheritage there. Regardless, they don't bother me that much, particularly since, whether they existed or not back in the late 60s, I remember them being there.

Yeah, it was the first result in google images for "69 camaro", haha. But my dream car is a black 69 Camaro with a 4spd.

Yeah, that is exactly it. Wow. I couldn't find a picture of that.

GM is adding the louvers now because they had them 40 years ago. I'm old so I like that, just as I love the "holes" on the sides of modern Buicks, even if I won't buy one of those.

their just like the first gen, those were not real either. their just body lines, not like the mustang with all its fake scoops
I don't have a single scoop thank you very much. But I know what you mean when it comes to all the special additions and body kits.

I nearly fell out of my chair when i saw the trailer hitch, i actually saw a 70 dodge challenger rt that had a trailer hitch and i wanted to go over and slap the guy who owned it and ask him wtf he was thinking. But i think the louvers look nice, I think the side would be too bland if they were not there, the front is agressive, the rear is agressive, and without that the side wouldnt fit very well.
