Like I said.. I have put nothing but premium in it since i purchased. I don't have a scanner and wouldn't know what I was looking at anyway.

 

I typically only use Shell Premium in my SS. Saw some research done comparing the big name gas brands, Shell consistently tested highest (and by quite a bit) for the Premium range. Occassionally though, our Ethanol free station will have 93 octane. It's about 10 % more $$ but with no Ethanol in it so it seems worth it to me. Although the station now has what they call "summer gas" at 90 octane w/o Ethanol, so I'm staying away and going with Shell Premium until the "summer gas" is gone.

 

When I let a friend borrow mine, he put in regular by mistake and there was definitely a difference in power. I am not sure if the motor/computer automatically calibrated but after dumping in a little octane booster it came back to normal. Never again, never ever again.
