My LS1 has black fillers where the fog lights normally go on the upper models. Is there a conversion kit I can buy to replace the black fillers and then make those my running lights instead of the headlights? Even if I shut off the headlights, the next time I start the car, they just come right back on again. Seems a waste, but I do like the idea of having daytime running lights. Haven't been able to find anything online except for actually adding fog lights, but that doesn't solve my problem of changing the running lights from the headlights to the fog light position. I know there are ways to bypass the system, but then you lose your parking brake light. I really don't want to do that...I'd rather have the running lights, just not as headlights.
