Default First time Camaro owner...v.bluetooth

Well this is going to be my first of many modifications that I am planning to do. I'm picking up my 2011 Camaro LS tomorrow. Yes I know it's the lowest Camaro version but I'm starting off with this.

My question is. I'm planning to get a navigation system(/stereo) to replace the stereo that comes with it. I would like the buttons on the steering wheel that will let you talk on the phone.

I've googled it and came up with nothing. Thanks in advance

I am pretty sure you cannot replace the radio, it is too integrated into the car. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, just something I thought I picked up in my readings.

I saw an adapter plate for custom head units. Honestly, it looked hideous because the a/c control buttons surrond the nav unit. Here's the link:

As far as the steering wheel controls go, I had a blueSTAR kit on my '02 Cadillac that allowed me to use my steering wheel controls with the bluetooth. I can't rember the exact web address but here is another forum link that did it with the G8 (same platform as the Camaro)

Just use an iPhone or iPad 3G -- problem solved! MapQuest and Waze apps for iOS have live turn by turn voice NAV GPS and they're FREE!

Then ProClip makes compatible 5th Gen Camaro mounts for either...

I believe I've read somewhere on the differences between the GM exported to Japan Gen5's ( Non-Sirrus equiped Gen5's) and how their Gen5 headunits differ in that they are Nav/CD/Stereo units. You might want to investigate further..............

Here is some more info on that metra install and it does mention how to setup the SWC. I guess all the ac, hazard, etc controls was why it was being said that the radio had to stay in, but it looks like this kit address that stuff.

I have a 1LT RS 2011....pissed that bluetooth module was not included. I hava a iPhone 4 and really would like to have bluetooth without aftermarket clutter. Can anyone help??? I know that I need a VCIM module. I have heard that this is almost impossible to get from dealer without proving your unit has been damaged or stolen. I am willing to trade my module for a bluetooth one. If anyone has any info or experience with this matter please feel free to comment. Thanks =)
