Default Disable forced manual shift ???

What are the best methods to override or disable the forced shift on the 2011 manual transmissions i.e. I've been told that there is a very annoying forced 2nd to 4th gear "mandate". THANKS, John N.

You need a skip shift eliminator. SLP made one for the 4th gens so there is probably already one out for the 5th gens.

you don't really need the skip-shift eliminator if you DRIVE the car the way it was intended.don't lug down the rpm's,and you won't have a problem.i've had 2 vettes prior to my SS,and that situation never arose.

Yep, SLP its like 30$. I got mine right after getting the car. It really is annoying especially when you dont or cant drive like an *** all the time. Like in the construction zone that is my drive in everyday, or over the RR crossing with the 3 inch lip that forces you to go slow over it or bust your rims.

Its really easy to install too, I dont think I even had to jack the car up.
