I'd buy an SS, if you love it and can afford to upgrade down the road...go for it, if the car turns out not to suit you...less of a loss on the sale.
For the record... I love mine, but still may be selling it.

 

Wait for the ZL1- you'll thank yourself later, and the wait will be worth it. For sure.
