So you know that useless cup holder in the early 4th gen camaro? The one that is right behind the shifter, so that when you shift, you knock you beverage out and all over the interior? Well, they put the cup holder in the same exact spot. I also suspect that it is the only cup holder in the car as well. I just think it's funny

ive got it in my 98. did they move it somewhere for the 01-02 or something?

 

I don't know, I just said early because that's what I have.

 

I think it started in maybe 98 where there is the little cup holder you can slide out of the center console in the passenger seat area. Not that its a particularly effective cup holder either tho.

 

i have the first year camaro with a cup holder, i was happy for that!!!

but im taking out the center console to put a aftermarket shifter in, so it doesnt matter anymore[]

 

I am pretty sure it started in 97. my 97 has that, and it is a sucky cup holder.
