RE: confused..
what about Z38 for the 3.8 redneck97? z26 reminds me of berreta's for some reason. sounds like you have a 2.6 liter Lol . I was thinking about lumina Z34 badges for mine or creating my own. I mean our cars are not factory anymore as soon as we put in that first piece of performance equipment so why not badge them as we see fit?

Not so sure about that Z/28 vs. SS thing. Back in '69 when I got my first Camaro, it was an SS 375 horse 396 and I never hid from a Z/28. Z's handled a little betterbut we were all about stop light-to-stop light, 1/8 and 1/4 straight line stuff back then. When the traction bars, gears, headers and cheater slicks were added, that old SS provided me with an attic full of drag racing trophies.
Hail to 104 octane 29 cents a gallon gas, massive burnouts, cool cops, summer nights in rural midwestern towns, cute girls, rock and roll, an occasional fist fight, and those wonderful daze of my youth!!

RE: confused..
The 1st year of the Z28 was the only true year of the name. For the rest of the years the SS was the go fast king. Even though the mid 80's cars were slow, they were still fast for those years. Chevy just got a little happy with the name by slappin it on anything that comes out. As far as the old RS/SS 350 cars. Who knows where they stood.

RE: confused..
Think there's going to be a COPO? Or a revisited Yenko? I am sure you would be able to get things ordered, but I mean one that even the central office knows is bad.

RE: confused..
I think they will have a few copo's but none for sale just like the 02 572 cars. I don't think Yenko will do any Don died and they lost flair after the 81 turba flop. So you know Berger and Motion will have a few tricks to show off.
