Color difference between body and moldings
I just bought a 2010 SS, White. The fenders, body and hood are a bright white, while the front and rear bumper covers look almost off-white. The tail fin seems close in color but the rest isn't. Even the gas tank door is off white.
Any one else experience the same issue? Dealer telling me is because of difference in materials, which I think is a bunch of bull.

Haven't heard or seen anything like this on new factory paint. Primer should seal the underlying materials and top paint should match. I looked at a white one when I was buying and didn't notice anything like that.
it had been a big issue and even warranted comments from GM , It was real noticeable on some early IOM's...I saw one where I got mine, that if it was my car, it would have not been acceptable to me.
I got lucky, mine was ok....materials and the fact that those parts aren't sprayed at the same time as the car...or by the factory, was determined to be the cause.
