Default Camaro platform and the Vauxhall VXR8

The Vauxhall VXR8, a UK rebadge of the Holden Clubsport R8, I believe uses the same platform as the new Camaro. The handful of reviews of the Vauxhall that I've read have been very positive and the British auto press is usually brutal to non-European cars.

I just looked at both. They seem pretty good. Though the Commodore looks alot like a V8 version of the Cobalt. Which I bet it is, since Holden is GM owned, it's just an Australian based auto company.
