O NOES! Bumblebee got into an accident today in DC, Cop got a call and drove through the scene being shot, and bumblebee T-boned the Police SUV

dont get me wrong, im glad everybody was ok(except for bumblebee, who suffered a broken nose) but that cop had no business speeding through a movie set with Explosives and speeding cars, emergency or not, I am curious on how Bay will include this into being a real scene in the movie

 

There is no plans for the accident to be included in the scene. They are going to reshoot using a backup car or wait for that car to be fixed. I could not find out if they had a backup to use or not. A couple of the vehicles they have for the movie are one of a kind. Optimus, Ratchet and Ironhide are all custom built (not just custom painted). I am glad everyone is OK but come on people... Wouldn't you think there was something wrong if you were driving down a normally busy street, see no other cars except a percession of really tricked out vehicles lead by a semi and also see a bunch of film crews that you may not be where you should be and to proceed with EXTREME caution... Especally if you have been on the force for the last 25 years and you know your city? A rookie sure a 25 yr vet... come on! Glad everyone is OK all and all.

(oh and thankfully this didnt happen in the fist movie when Bumblebee was a 1 of 2 car that was hand built and cost over 1 mil.

Yeah if it would have happened to movie 1 bumblebee it would have been really bad, and your right about the Cop being an idiot, I believe he was one of the cops who was on duty to block off the streets for the movie, and he was still dumb enough to go speeding through the set to his call

also true Micro, and atleast it was all front end damage so the body can be rebuilt pretty easily

 

all cops think they can do what ever they want i have never meet a cop that i have liked they all think they are the man and the rules dont apply to them. i really cant stand them.
