Best exhaust?
#2
I just recently installed the Borla S-type axleback exhaust. I have prior experience with the Borla for my Toyota 4x4 pickup. It was probably the single best investment I made which increased the performance of my truck.
My research showed that Borla had three levels of exhaust - Touring, S-type, and ATAK. I chose the S-type. The sound improved greatly yet only increased the noise level inside, slightly. Just what I was looking for... My research as far as sound was done using YouTube. There's a whole bunch of videos there for the 5th generation Camaro.

I don't know if you have any interest on a V6ers opinion, but I just had Magnaflows installed and love them. Great sound and now I don't have to look at the mufflers every time I walk up behind the car. The lifetime warranty on the mufflers isn't bad either. I am not sure yet about any performance differences since it was just completed yesterday but i will be checking it out this week end.

I just got Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers installed on my SS yesterday. Here is a video of the stock sound and then with the flow masters. Hope this helps!
