v6 will be a 14.5 in the 1/4.. low torque

v8 performance will be close to the LS2 GTO

If they can price it at 20k for the v6 and 25k for the v8 then the camaro will be the better buy again

 

i kinda called the low torque thing for this one. to put it plainly, low displacement + high hp = low torque

 

i do, however, beleive that is quite a bit faster than the v6 stang, so were still good. also, as has been posted all over here, u can usually subtract at least a half second from whatever edmunds reports. their drivers are bad

 

I agree 100% mags in general suck for times.. this was the engineer that reported it.. and also reported that the auto was faster.. so.. that should tell us something else.. he said 13.4 for the manual LS3 and 13.3 for the auto.. I'm betting many people will be getting 13.0 stock in it though..im guessing the nearly 4k curb weight is hurting it's performance..

 

its only a couple hundred lbs fatter than the s197gt...
