Average Price paid for a new camaro

Default Average Price paid for a new camaro

Hi guys im new to this forum and i am looking to buy a new 2lt camaro 2013 and was wondering how much i can expect to pay after everything tax dealer fees and title and haggling the price how much did you guys end up paying for new 2lts and was wondering how the resale is on the car as well and how reliable the car will be i plan on keeping it for the next 10 years so should i go with this car what do you guys think?

Step up to the SS, even if its a lower trim package.

Reliability should be fine, LS engines have been around forever now and used in tons of applications. Easy to get 150k+ miles out of these without any problems.

i would love to step up to the ss package but my insurance goes up way to much and i cant afford that along with gas im still in college working my way to med school so affording the ss with gas and insurance is way out of my monthly budget

well figure up your sales tax plus about $200 state registration fee, $975 Freight charge, about $250 for dealer fees, and about $1800 a year for insurance. I just bought a 2012 1LS myself, sticker was about $22,700 with the current GM $500 bonus and it ended up being just over $25,000 out the door. You should be able to deal a little on the 2lt because it's got a higher sticker price but these cars are in very high demand, it's hard to haggle on them, dealers cant keep them on the lots because everybody wants one.

We paid about $32,000 or so before taxes and fees.
