Default Accidental discovery

So my finger slipped off the key when starting, but it still started. First time I noticed it, so I tried again and it started. I dont know if this is news to anyone other than me, but I thought it was cool.

Almost like a push button. You dont have to hold the key for it to start.

I have had the times when I turn a key and my finger slips off before it starts and then you have to turn it over again before it starts. Not now, as long as I turned the key it will just start on its own.

Most new cars are like that. I know my mom's 08 Grand Caravan is the same way. Hell, it doesn't even have a key, just a little plastic **** looking thing.

My Buddy's CTS-V does that, too. We also found it by accident.
I believe its 06 and Newer GM Vehicles.

Found another today. The turn signal gives you three flashes automatically if you dont engage it completely. I was hoping the brights would flash twice too, but havent seen it yet.

And another, not so good though.

Dont set the cruise control when in "N". I know it seems dumb, but I thought the cars were programed not to do anything when you try, so I tried. Not this one though, it was revving like a madman trying to get up to speed. I was already rolling downhill at about 30 mph when I did it though. Just a bug I guess.

Wow, took 4000 plus miles to notice this.

Where does "R" go when you're driving? Notice that the stick sits between 3 & 4 in it's natural state. When moving pushing to the right and up goes to 5. When sitting still it goes to R. If you coast to a stop you can feel the gate open that allows it to move just a tad further to access R. Just another usless tid bit.
