Default 6 Speed Manual Problems
Just wondering if the guys with these trans. are having issues with grinding and throwout bearing chirping.

no...but only 3k on the car as we speak

Take it back to the dealer if it is still under warranty. And if they approve the change, DO NOT leave it there because they will leave you without a car for more than a month!

I actually have a Toyota. But we have the same transmission. 6 Speed manuals. I got so sick and tired of grinding and throwout bearing chirping that I installed a T-56 with internals out of the Viper/Corvette. The dealer keeps changing the trowout bearing only to have it start chirping again. Problem is there is no pilot bearing. Name: DSC03931.jpg Views: 276 Size: 129.1 KBHere is old Toyota 6 speed. mine grinds only going in to 2nd at 1/2-3/4 throttle figure it has somthing to do with skip shift? will take it to dealer soon

I hope you dont have the problems i had, mine was in the shop for 3 months and they finally replaced the transmission with a new one.
