What is the normal coolant temp degrees? My car usually stay between 180-187 but dialing with no AC on will go up to 220+.

This high temp could be normal, as three separate GM dealers for my truck, dealers' reply was "If it's not boiling over, it's fine."

 

What car is it? My 2012 V-6 stays at 81C with only one degree of variation, all the time. The exception was a track day, when it nudged up into the 90s. Translation from Canadian (and that car was then built in Canada): 80C = 176F; 90C = 194F.
