So I'm looking into getting a 2012 Camaro SS RS package with 23k miles and I was just wondering if there are any iffy years, or any major issues with these cars as I have limited knowledge on the Camaro platform. TIA!

 

Good pick. I have a 2012 2SS 45th anniversary convertible, has only 15k miles. The 45th anniv. comes with the RS trim features. If the one you're looking at is an automatic, it comes with the LS based 400 h.p. L99 6.2L engine, which has the active fuel management (shuts down to 4 cylinders when loafing down the highway). The manual transmission model comes with a 426 h.p. LS3 6.2L (does not have active fuel management). So far, there isn't anything I don't like about mine, other than the exhaust is way too quiet. I'm planning on putting on an axle back muffler delete setup, which has a very nice sound to it, but not too loud.
