2012 or 2011 2SS?

2012 or 2011 2SS?
I need some guidance. I have been drooling over the Camaro since they released the 5th generation. With all the weird pigment issues, the 2012 models are pretty limited in the color selection. Combine that with the fact that our local dealers seem to be in love with convertibles (I want a coupe) and the 2012 inventory is pretty limited. My question is this. Are the upgrades on the 2012 significant enough to just order what I want from my local dealer and wait or is getting a 2011 in the color I want a better choice? I'm not entirely sure I know all the 2012 changes so I need some help.
Thanks
Rick

The changes are not that significant, Although I prefer the interior of the 2011 over the newly designed one. the gauges and steering wheel have been changed. some RS options are now standard on the 12.

I also have been wanting a new car, and have had to wait, and the time maybe approaching when I can choose any new car within reason. The Camaro is on my list, along with several others. I just want to get around and have fun and relaibility. No children to haul around. I am retired.
I have Camaro on my list because the newer Camaros have Independent rear suspension now, which is one thing that Mustangs don't have. (at least stock ones).
Gas mileage ain't bad for the V8 version. Relatively.
View out the rear is supposedly not so good. I gotta test drive one and find out. I don't want a V6. I know someone who had a Pontiac Firebird with a V6 and it was possbily the worse car engine ever. .
I need a comfortable ride though, as my body cannot handle bumps, jerks, and rough rides. I need to find out how one rides over the rough freeway surfaces, those miserable rain grooves and expansion joints that jar teeth out.

I think the solution to both of your problems would be to check around and maybe test drive some Camaros to see which ones you like or don't like. See if you like the colors on the 2012 or not. Or just to see how it drives. You've also got the Camaro ZL1 coming on the horizon as well so that may be another direction to look in. Either way you go I think you will be happy with your vehicles.
