2011 vs 2012?
Gen 5-ers!
I'm a big fan of Gen 5 and Gen 1, and a recent job change has given me some more "play money". I've been checking on the 2011/2012 models (2SS style) and I'm having a hard time finding what exactly the differences between the two models are. Is it really just the steering wheel and the backup cam? Are there any other differences?
I know the 2013 is coming out soon as well, but personally I don't think I need any of the features that will be coming with that.

yea, im fairly sure the major differences between 11/12 are the interior changes and i believe the RS tail lights and a few small options from 2010/11 became standard equipment
for the record though, i personally feel the interior changes were terrible. the 10/11 steering wheel and interior were much better. now it looks like the same wheel they use in all the midsize cars

Hello 20yearslate,
Congratulations on your recent job change! Per my resources here at GM, the 2012 Camaro comes with standard steel wheels instead of aluminum. It also has a Rear Vision Package, which includes Rear Park Assist, Rear Vision Camera and inside rearview auto-dimming mirror with rearview camera display Rear Vision Camera, which is standard on all convertible models, 2LT and 2SS coupe and included in the Rear Vision Package. Also there is an inside rearview auto-dimming mirror with rearview camera display, standard on all convertible models, 2LT and 2SS coupe and included in the Rear Vision Package. With a front passenger, 6-way power seat adjuster standard on the SS model, you will enjoy customizable comfort. And nonetheless a Performance Suspension on the SS Coupe models.
All the best,
Brandon
