Howdy!!! New member, 1st post, new car, and most glad to be here. I'm so excited I'm not sure whether to scratch my watch or wind my ***!!! Got a call yesterday from my long time friend and Chevy salesman. Beginnning in July, the dealership will start accepting deposits on the 2011 Camaro convertible. My wife retires Jan 1, 2011. For her retirement gift, unknown to her, she'll be receiving sometime between Jan & April, whenever GM can get'er built and delivered, her retirement gift: A 2011 Camaro SS convertible with every option I can get GM to throw on it. I'll be keeping y'all posted as to the progress beginning with the actual deposit through and including pic's of the eventual surprise delivery next year. Can't wait to see the option list and the power train availability. Course she'd like the largest big block 500+ HP V-8 GM can stuff in'er but she'll just have to settle for the largest V-8 available.

I'll be looking for some suggestions from y'all along the way on what to do and what not to do regarding any dealer add on options.
