Default 2011 Camaro 20k miles misfiring

I have a 2011 camaro I drove it new off the lot and have put around 20k miles on it (highway). Last Friday I had the oil changed, picked it up from the dealer drove home and parked it. Saturday morning got in and started it up (or tried) it would misfire and die. Check engine light was flashing so I turned it off and called a friend he came over an checked the code. It showed cylinder 5 misfiring. I called the dealer on Monday they came and picked it up and "fixed" it. Returned it within just a couple of hours. They blamed bad gas and carbon build up on the exhaust. Has anyone else had a similar or same problem? I am concerned they just cleared the codes and sent it on.

I can look into this if you would like! We certainly apologize for your frustrations. I will just need your first and last name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage and involved dealership name.

I look forward to your reply in a PM.

That's awesome that automakers are using forums to interact with their owners

r u sure they didnt say carbon build up at intake? every 10 to 15k its good idea to open the throttle flap and spray a full can of carb clean inside and out. bet thats what they did.
