Default 2010 V6 Camaro

I have a 2010 v6 Camaro and I bought a off brand cold air intake to put on it but every time I put it on the car always just ends up missing. Why is this and is there any way to fix this issue.

It shouldn't be doing that. Is it new (clean) or used (dirty)? Are you reusing your existing MAF sensor, or does it have it's own sensor installed? Swap in the original sensor if you're not already.

it’s brand new. I read that it might be because of the tube being at a 90 degree angle going into the throttle body but I’m not sure. And it’s the stock maf
