Default 2010 ss $53,000 in WV

I went to Lewis Chevrolet today in beckley, west virginia to see the new camaro. I could not believe it when i saw it was over $52,000. I dont know what all options it had (surely it was all you could get), but that is way to much. It was a little over $42,000 and then it had exactly $10,000 added for something on the bottom. I love the car but thats the cost of a vette. I would rather have a camaro than a vette, but a vette should always cost more. I guess the dealers are gettin whatever they want for them. The woman that was looking at it really wanted a red one and this one was black but she was getting it anyway. I think that is about 16-18 thousand more than a fully opted out should be.

Wait until next year. There will be bugs that are sorted out, improvements to the car and dealers will be discounting.

If folks would only stick these dealers with the overpriced cars, they would soon learn. But so many folks must be the first kid on the block with the new toy.

Me, I'll wait.

The newness will wear off as well.

That 52,000 Camaro will be worth 24,999 next year.

Its just crazy that a car lot tries to rape you like that. I would love to have a new 2SS but im with red, I'll wait till next year after they get the kinks out of it and its in the low to mid $30's where it should be.

I'd like to have one too and strongly considered a trade, but with a new car that is that hot, the dealers are offering me nothing for a trade and I'm not willing to give my car away.
