Default 2010 3.6 and 2016 3.6 Engine Help

Hello, I have a customer with a 2016 Camaro 3.6, engine that has a hole in the block. He bought a 2010 Camaro 3.6 as a parts vehicle...
I don't have any experience with these engines and had no info for him but agreed to try and found out.
Does anyone know if the blocks are interchangeable? Everything I'm seeing points to 2010-2011 being interchangeable and 2016-2019 being interchangeable.
I know it's a long shot but didn't want to tell him no until I had more input. Thanks!
