2010 1SS Headlight Mod??
I just bought a 2010 1SS yesterday and I've already got the bug to start modifications on it. I ABSOLUTLY love this car, but I want to make it even better. I was wondering if anyone has switched out regular headlights for Xenon high intensity lights or something similar? If so how difficult was it and does anyone have any suggested headlights besides the Xenon?
Thanks
Thanks

I just found out about 2 days ago, from a buddy, that the Chevy dealerships contract most of their work out to GM certified parts dealers in the area to do all their work. He works for the dealership here and was telling me that if I go through them I can keep the car under warranty and get a much cheaper price, but equal quality, on any work I want done. I know DFW has a few places like that. If you can't find any Pezlow let me know, my brother-in-law dealt cars out there for many years.

These folks may be less but not too sure about the cost.

First off a 2010 can we see pictures pretty please?? I am green with envy over here, congrats on the new car. Im not suprised you got the mod bug already. I dont know about those lights specifically but I usually buy most of my oem chevy parts and accessories from www.gmpartsclub.com since they come with a full gm warranty but usually at a cheaper price.
I had an epiphany today! What if you bought the HID kit for non-RS camaros (from ebay) and use it with the RS headlights. You could wire that kit up to the car but use the RS headlights instead of the non-RS. Then, you could splice the halos to your parking lights or just run a separate switch for them altogether. As far as the DRLs go, hmmm... I guess it would be easiest to pull the fuse for (if there is one, haven't checked) and leave it alone. I don't know how "valid" this idea is or if it is simpler to use the wires from the RS headlight assembly. Either way, this is just some food for thought.
