20 Plus Years Waiting...
Over 20 years ago, hitched a ride with my mom's friend in her 69 Camaro convertible (think it was a 69). Wanted one ever since. But as kids and dogs came into the picture, the only practical choice of vehicles for our camping trips, etc was of the mini-van variety. And so many years later, the lease on yet another mini-van is about to expire and I'm finally getting what I've been waiting for! 2011, 2LT/RS Silver /w Black Stripes! Thanks to everyone on the forums for pumping me up even more than I already was. If all goes well, I should be picking her up later today. The last 2 weeks of waiting has been killer. Cannot wait! I will post pics when I get her. Thanks again everyone! I look forward to lots of fun reading on here - and driving out there!

Same here. I've driven a Toyota Pick-up 4wd for 19 years. My wife has had 3 buicks in this time frame and was talking about getting another. I had to pull rank and remind her I am due a vehicle. I bought mine(Camaro) used. Was a rental but in very good condition. 2010 metalic gray SS2 I believe. Has heated leather seats and gages on the console. 20" wheels, automatic transmission. My brother had a 67 SS Camaro as a teenager. It was bad to the bone. At the time they were hard to find and to expensive in good shape. I owned 2 Nova's as a teen, but still thought the Camaro was king. And at 39 years old I love mine. Some call it mid life crisis, I call it the most geometric pleasing car on the road. Got to love the geometry of the fifth generation Camaro. I'll post pics when i figure out how to on this forum.

To answer your question about "insufficient priveledges," I think you need 10 posts (can't be in "off topic" section) to create/view your own photo gallery, hopefully that helps. Congrats on your Camaro.
