Anyone hear if GM was going to build a Firebird/Trans am? or are they too rapped up in the GTO?

i like the front end and the hood on the left one but i like the spoiler deal on the one on the right

the right is better imo, but from what i understand, gm says no firebird, dont wanna have two of the same car under different names
