1.So, my cars been failing me,usually after a late flight, of course. Ill unlock it normally via the button on key chain. Then put in key, when i turn it to the first setting (just electricity) everything will flicker on and off. If i turn it all the way i get nothing. Then my red light (for vats i thing) will start going crazy, and its light i hear it flashing. After my key chain, nor any power will work. If i disconnect the battery and put it back on it works fine. WTF.
2. After i shut it off today, i wanted to make sure it would turn back on, so i turned the key half way (only electricity) and i heard a weird grinding noise. From slightly in front and below me. I turned it off, did it again, still heard the grinding. 3rd time, no grind. WTF. For all of #2, i never turned on the car all the way.
3. I encountered about 1500 to **** away on car. My pressure plates shakes a little so i was going to do clutch, pressure plate, and resurface flywheel. I also wanted to do a 100 wet shot, and CAI. Sound like a good spend? i like how my gears are know and dont want to buy a rear end anytime soon.
97 lt1. 14000 original miles. 6 speed. short shifter. MAF (dont ask). ST headers (in va), and 80 series muffler.Hypertech tune.
