salvage yards don't have what I need, it's ebay or nothing and they are used. I need some new stuff.

Guys it all a matter of timeing. To old for factory support and too young for aftermaket support is not just 4th gen Camaros. Even Vetts run into this at some point. Once demand is strong enough and someone can make a buck on them the parts will show up. In the next few years the 4th gens will drop in price but they will turn the corner and parts will be made.

I have a 96 Tahoe. I just had to make all new brake line and fuel lines. Nothing is available. If you look for the same parts for a 88 Suburban I have a choise between Standard, Vinal coated or Stainless lines. Just about every clip is available also.

I don't think the aftermarket will ever support 4th gens as they do other cars. I think it pretty much is going to stop after 3rd gen when cars where more metal than plastic.

Back in the 70's and 80's the first gen mustangs were pretty much throw away cars too. They rusted bad, lacked the power and economy of the newer stuff, point type ignition was a pain... need I go on? Now look at them today. Granted they are now 40 years old or better but when they were 10 and 20 years old they were nothing much. We will have our time but we may have to wait another 20 years till things get tasty.

Lots of NOS parts out there for 60's Chevelles, maybe the demand just isn't there ??
Besides I'm only really posting in this section cause I'm tired of coming on the site and seeing the heading on the forum page for this section, reading..... " seeking 20+ yr old....."
Reminds me too much of a personal add.

It was really to see if GM actually had someone monitoring this section, which low and hold they don't, go figure. I know my cars a tosser, so it doesn't really matter, but it would be nice to be able to find some stuff to keep it looking great.
