The best is probably the "sneaky pete" think its made by NX... u gotta make sure your engine can handle that first tho, dont wanna blow that s**t!

Start out with the smallest jet and work your way up.

Just make a hole in your intake and stick the nozzel in, it's pretty straight foward

what is the safest way to go? dry shot or direct port? thanks

Well start with a dry shot. You can always get a different nozzel to switch to a wet system. You can acutally have a seprate tank (with 100 octane fuel) with a seprate fuel pump that can be activated with the nitrous. That way you don't really need any of those fancy timing computers. Direct port would be kinda difficult for your car and a lot more expensive. You'd need to pop the intake off and drill a hole on each runner and then get a nozzel for each and then a couple distribution blocks for your nitrous.

I have a similar question....
I want to add a SMALL amount of nitrous into my K&N intake that comes off the throttle body/replace rubber elbow. I was wondering if this would be safe on my engine. I want to wire it so that I can just tap a button and it will give me a boost like a turbo.

heres my K&N unknown Model future custom ;-)

Would a purge kit hooked into my K&N intake work or ?

Purge kit will not work. It's just an open ended hose pretty much and you really need jets to control the power.

a 50 shot is pretty safe on my engine right? It has all stock internals, But it does have the factory forged steel rods in it... too bad the pistons are only aluminum alloy.I think most of the engine problems is a result of drivers hitting the nitrous and shifting at like 6500 RPM's correct?

50 shot is pretty safe. It'll prolly give you a 35 hp kick in reality if that even. You will be ok with stock internals. The reason people blow their engines with nitrous is because they don't retard the timing with gobs of nitrous, it leans out and burns the pistons, or there is just simply too much power for the internals. I think the most you'll want to do on a dry system is 75. and 125 on a wet system. Then you'll need a timing retard everytime you use nos up and beyond.

I think what you mean to ask is "Dry or Wet" not "Dry or Direct". Direct-port is having a nitrous nozzle in each individual intake runner (4 on a 4 cylinder, 6 on a 6 cylinder, 8 on an 8, etc.).

The best way to go (IMHO) would be a wet kit. Dry kits are somewhat more simplistic to install (less lines, not tapping into the fuel system, one less solenoid, less wiring) but once it's dialed in the fuel is there when you need it instead of taxing your existing fuel system to compensate for a dry kit. Either way you have to accomodate the extra oxygen being introduced into the motor, but wet kits are typically a little easier to live with/reliable once you have the nozzle jetted correctly.
