View Full Version : LT-1 Solid lifter camshaft Transman 06-13-2005, 06:37 AM Specs are 242/254 @ .455/.485 lift 116 lobe sep. Has ne1 ever tried a camshaft like this? JD1969 06-13-2005, 11:59 AM Are those duration numbers at .50 because the lift looks small for a cam of that size. Regardless, my opinion is that it is too small of a cam to bother with going solid. Solid lifter cams generally make their power at very high RPM's, that cam with those numbers is not going to be a high enough reving cam to take advantage of the solid lifter. Not to mention the added maintence of running the lash every 3-4000 miles. |
