Default fuel injection cleaning

could that be a possible solution for my problem? it kind of makes a thumping sound when I try to accelerate a little bit from 40-50 mph. It's definitely NOT a transmission problem. I need heelpppppppppppp like asap. I have money to fix it, I just need to find out what the exact problem is. oh yeah it's a '97 3.8

maybe a spark plug problem..even tho i changed those like..maybe a lil over a year ago

I had that problem to.. 40-60 band I have bosch+4 and wires, short cold-air, stay away from cheap gas & fuel cleaner every 4 months & still I couldn't figure it out.. So I change the struts, tire & roto & had the computer check and everything was cool after that, alot of $$$ but I guess it was worth it
