every time go around a curve to the left i hear this grinding sound and its coming from the driverside rear wheel so i though it might be wheel drag thats when the calipers are not adjusted right or the rotar might be warped so i took it to the dealer to have it checked out and they did not find anything wrong does anyone know what it could be? P.S. i have a 2000 ss if that helps thanks

does the wheel stop moving, if so u might have a spool in the rear for racing.

usually spools sound link a clunk becuase they skip instead of roll around corners, but I just though of something else. jack up your rear tire and try to lift it up and down by hand. if you can do that without the rearend moving, you have a bad outer bearing in your rearend. if I listen closely it sounds like a slight bang, but most people are always describing it as a grinding noise.

longshot but just another online diagnosis[X(]

with the car on the lift see if the tire has play in it, either up and down or side to side... i would have to guess though from your post it is the wheel bearing.. good luck

the bushings might be bad on the panhard rod.
