hello everybody i need some help. i know absolutely nothing about cars so i did a google search for camaro forums and it brought me here. i was driving my car one day and as i shifted into 1st i felt my clutch just give out from underneath my foot and i lost all pressure to it what so ever. i assumed it was my clutch cable but then i looked underneath my car and saw something more than that. can anybody identify this part along with its approximate cost and labor difficulty. any help would be good...thanks

Oh man never seen this happen before. that is your clutch cable and mounting bracket. how much it will cost to fix and if it will be hard to fix will depened on why it came off. if the bolts just fell out .it will not be hard to fix. If the bolts broke off .you got problems. I will guess anywhere from $50 to $300 depends on how long it will take someone to fix it.
