Not even close. 2 car lengths well before the 1/4 mile, and pulling strongly (he shut it down before the 1/4). Would have been BUS lengths by the time a 1/4 came.

In the act to be fair, my SRT is not stock. Following mods: Solid MM's, FMIC, Ported turbo, IM, EM, and TB(all stock parts though, no aftermarket), 750cc injectors, dtec fuel managment system, fuel return line, 255 Walbro pump, CAI, 3" o2 housing, Needswings DP with e/cutout. So, a few light mods, but no big turbo. Dynoed at 307HP to the wheels.

Come come now JD, my little SRT may be an 8 cylinda killa, but I know my limits. 12.25 may be within my grasp though if I get some slicks, so we'll see at the Grove this summer! Just don't be like 89/383 and want to pick on Patty if the little SRT does suprise you!

May I be so bold as to ask why? I am guessing you are looking for consistancy??

A stalled auto LS1 is usually about half a second faster mod for mod than a 6 speed, I am plenty consistant with a stick car, I just want to go faster. That and I broke the T56 a last week.

Odd. I have always been under the impression manual cars driven correctly were faster than their auto couterparts. I guess you learn something new everyday!:)

No witht he LS1 cars. The T56 has a very high first gear which makes it very hard to cut a good 60 foot. The best 60' I have ever had with the 6 speed was a 1.81, I exspcet to be at least in the 1.6 or better with auto and high stall (4500 rpm). 2 tenths off the 60 foot should be about half a second in the 1/4. Well see in a couple of weeks.

I hope to be in the 11's with my big turbo and slicks. Are those numbers current JD????

Oh, and since the SRT beat 89/383's Maro, he wanted a piece of Patty. She beat him to. Granted, he had tranny problems, but a win is a win!!!!!

Dude, don't be a hater. A win is a win. If I had blown the engine in my SRT while racing you, you would have been in every forum I am on blabbing about how you beat me. And you should, because again, a win is a win!!!

And Patty is still waiting. She's eager to beat you without any excuses this time. Get your car back out on the street slacker.
