Hey guys i just bought a 89 conv iroc with a 383 stroker dart pro 1, heads 750 holley,comp cam extreme energy cam 477 480 lift and 268 280 duration sub frame connectors,tires i have out back are nitro 2455016 NT555r drag every time i launch i cant hook up, i need to know what psi you guys would run the tries at for max traction or if you would suggest diff tires I NEED TO GET A 1/4 MILE TIME ON THIS CAR also how do i get a pic on here.

I run my BFG drag radials at 15 psi but they are known to hook a lot better than a Nitto. Start out at 20 and work your way down untill your 60 foot falls off. Remember only make one change at a time.

Hey JD, good to see another Mustang Forums member here. With the time in your sig, my Stang wouldn't even be be a race, it would be a murder. My SRT-4 would be a better match, but hell, anytime I can meet someone from the forums I am up for it, so when you plan on making a grove trip, let me know, my GF lives about 5 minutes away, so I can be there just about any weekend. I will make sure to get stoker to come also, so we both have a good murder under our belts (you don't mind on beating up on other Camaro's do you??)

I am actually up there quite a bit during the summer. I race at RSD a bit and we take the NMRA car there a bit. I'll be sure and drop you a line when I go up next. Actaully I am headed to Burlington today for my nephews b-day but the SS is staying home. BTW I plan on being a bit fastwer than the time in my sig by spring time[:-] Oh yea and I don't mind beating up on other Camaros:D

Unless he has the exact same tire size and suspension set up, you cannot go by that. Trust when I say you need to spend some time at the track and figure out what works best for your car. If we meet up at the track I would be more than willing to help you out.

And don't be so sure that you will be able to take Patty either. Low 13's are what she will be running come spring.

Don't be so sure of your car, or take Patty to lightly. And I am still waiting for an explination on the ricer comment. As far as I know, only one of us has ever even OWNED an import, and it's not me.

Audi is euro-trash, not ricer-trash.

BTW-the worst Patty has ever been beat has been by an Audi. It was pretty bad.

I am a Mickey Thonpson drag radial guy nitto are fine for you mom's car but if you want ot get it to the ground get some m/t drag radials. 15-18 psi. look out axles here they go.[8D]

It's also faster than your Camaro, but I don't see you bringing that up. Hell, my Mustang will probably be faster than your Camaro to, so I really don't see why you have to be like this. What do you have against my SRT? If I remember correctly, when I told you I was thinking about trading in my Focus for an SRT, you said that "I would be your hero". Why you flippin the scrip now playa??? I think the fastest thing you have is your mouth. OH SNAP-YOU HAVE BEEN SERVED! (again, for anyone else on this forum, I work with Stroker. Why are you hating?? And do you have a big enough description of your car in your sig?? Why not the color, how much gas is in the tank, what color the interior is, you know, everything.

How about you race the SRT now, like right after work tonight?? Because you know, once it gets back from Cleveland, it really won't be a race anymore, so we better do it while it's still stock. Stick to my Mustang buddy, the SRT is going to be out of your league.

my car is in the garage just like you mustang it will not see streets untill all the salt is gone and warmer weather the reason i have all that on my sig is because i cant get a picture over it on here yet ok happ and no matter how fast your:D neon :D is i will still race it im not afraid to lose.
