OK the headlight dosn't work just stopped one day (both of them), so a friend pulled out the headlight switch, while I got a replacement from the dealer. Well when I replaced it they still don't work, and not only that but I cant seem to find where it was originally ancored and neither does he (and it just has to be ancored somewhere, it doesn't work if it's just flopping around.. I tried :) any clues guys??? and one more question if its not the headlight switch, ora fuse, anything else it might be. Thanks guys this will be the last thing I need to get my babe on the road!!!

There would be a fuseable link on one of the starter wires. One of them is power to the headlights. Check them close. Sometimes the wire does not melt away and they look good but they will corode and melt inside the connector.
And the headlight switch will anchor with a nut to the bezel. The nut is more like a bolt with a hole in it and it threads into the metal braket on the switch and the rod on the knob goes through the hole.

Hi guys.......me too. except they come back a few days later. Kind of like inlaws. Ground wire was good to know it's location. I'll check it first. Then I'll jack it up and check those fuseable links at the starter. Thanks again, I'll let you know what it is........more later........bryan.
