hey just looking for some more experienced help with a current problem im having with the camaro not starting. i had the old distributor module tested and it failed so put a new one on, still no start. plugs and wires are good, the thing is i can hear the spark sparking loudly around the distibutor cap so im thinking it may be bad and be my next step in trying to get it to start. </P>


another thing to note is i forgot to put that jelly stuff on the bottom of the module before i put it on but it still made the loud spark sound before anyway.</P>


im not good and dont have any experience with these older distributor setups, any help would be great thanks</P>

Would need to know what year your car is and what type ignition system it has to be able to offer any help.
