Should I go with the SLP cold air induct. (underhood mount) How much will it really do for my car and where exactly does it mount? I think Whisper also makes the same thing.

It sounds like you are talking about a lid, if so they are all pretty much the same and have been proven to give 5-8 hp at the tire.
