Default Question about,2002 Camaro SS 35th anniversary

2002 Camaro SS 35th anniversary
Here is the last year of the 4th Gen fbody. It's an automatic with 128k. All stock, with leather interior and T-tops. Tires in great shape, getting hard to find unmolested ls1 cars anymore. This is a really ss not a z28 clone
He is asking 7500.
I haven't went to look at it yet,its about 1.5 hours away.Is this price in the ball park?
I'm just wanting some guide lines as to what thing cost so I know where to start

Thanks Barry

This is the other one I'm looking at.

LS1 5.7 V8 6 speed. 130k New clutch and rear end Tranny was rebuilt at the same time Tires are great. T-tops don't leak. Heat and ac work great. No big dash cracks. Grey cloth and power seat in good shape. Cruise control works. In dash dvd. Big brake upgrade. Has long tube headers. Hurst shifter. SS wheels are mint. HID's and black housing headlights. Runs and drives great

I'm concerned about the trans and rear end going at the same time. Maybe he to beating it a little to hard and they seet the bed.

I haven't looked for a used car in over 25 yrs. I know y'all know these cars better then I do and can give me some pointers as to what to look at.

Ask him to send you pictures of the GM RPO sticker on drvr door and SLP sticker on pass door.
On GM sticker, look for WU8 (SS model) & Y2Y (double RPO sticker)
SLP sticker, if one is there, will have SLP mods/additions they did and date of finish.
If no SLP sticker, then basic alteration by SLP.
For the miles. good price.

for an le 1 with those miles I would check the book.value ,I know its not that muchso I .checked 5300.00 is book value ,now if you don't pay above book an only below its not for you ,I put very good not excellent couse how can a car with.. 130k be excellent ,there was guy hear selling one with super charger with 12.500 miles. sold for $20,000 but that super charger an low miles account for that price I guess as its book value was $10.700 wich surprized me ,I would spend a bit more for one with like 50,000 on it ,just a personal thing to me is any car with over 100.000 makes me nervous ,anything under 100.000 thrifty watch prices of certain cars go down with summer time an in the fall the le1 cars they hold a bit more value but not a lot,a note is that you would say know one pays over book value at one time ,6k would be fair if you realy got to have it

Yes, it does. Once built in the GM plant in St Theresa ONT, they went to Street Legal Performance, Toms River, NJ, and delivered to dealers from SLP.

I would not even look couse he is not budgeing on the price ,don't know wich generation your from .but there was a time the saying was again never pay over book value ,these days people don't.relize how much over .book there paying ,I would not pay more then 3k my self an again cars with what I think are high miles you jusr don't know what may go who pounded one it ,is this a. one owner ,there was a guy same car similar miles back on ebay, but if you got the money an plan to fix it up that's up to you, let.him know you know what the book is ,an its not even very good with.paint .chips in it that brings it down to about 4900.00 an mabey good or below on chart if he talks.NA DA that's a dealer price on a lot
